I have a 200l (53 gal) tank in which I have successfully bred sewellia lineolata (reticulated tiger hillstream loach). I'd like to have some fish to occupy the mid or upper levels of the tank as well. I've done my research and white cloud mountain minnow seems to be the best fish for this purpose. However, I'm worried that my breeding days are over if I introduce them into the tank. Will they eat the sewellia eggs/fry?
The tank currently has 7 adult sewellia and around 20 small ones (which I'm selling at a rate of about 15 per month) and 2 otocinclus.
So...is it stupid to get white cloud mountain minnows to this tank?
