What should i feed my severum i have tryed floating large cichlid pellets small sinking ones and staple flakes he wont eat any of them the closest he comes is that he will chew up the large pellets and spit them out?

I feed mine chopped up lettuce, flake, freeze-dried krill, and freeze-dried bloodworms.

Have you just recently got this severum?, as he may not be eating due to the stress of moving.

most severums are not fussy eaters and will eat almost anything, but as jacob said try bloodworm, but if the fish is hungry it should eat falke or pellets

ours eats all kinds of foods ...........peas , lettuce , aquarium plants  , crickets , krill , cichlid sticks , blood worms , shrimp pellets .........a varied diet is best for all fish .

Try fasting him few a few days , then see what happens when you go to feed him .

all righ thanks alot im going to do what someone said by fasting it for 3 days or so then see what happens my tanks a bit merkky so it couldent hurt to fast them cause im going to be doing alot of water changes these next 5 days i threw some brokaly heads in the tank and am letting them float to see if he will nible at them but no luck so im taking them out fasting is the best way i guess
