My female Blue has Dropsy bad, I knew she was a little sick but I looked at her today and now I know it is Dropsy. She is very swollen and lost a lot of her color. I do not know what to do? How do I treat her? Do I let her go? What do I do!

It would probably be best to end her suffering, or make her as comfy as possible until she dies on her own.

Daily 50% water changes. Epsom salt, one teaspoon per 10 gallons, increase by a teaspoon daily for a few days to three teaspoons per 10 gallons. For a 1 gallon tank you can add a teaspoon to 10 ounces of water, and add an ounce of that water to the tank.

Maracyn and Maracyn II. Ignore the package instructions, remed daily after the water change.

You will have to adjust the amount of epsom salt being added after water changes. If you remove 50% of the water you have removed 50% of the epsom. If you are adding one ounce from the beginning you only need to add 1/2 ounce of the 10 ounce mix after the water change. After a few days you will be adding 1 1/2 ounces of the mix after a 50% water change.

what i did was turn up the temp 2-3 degrees per day until i reached 86F. you'll need an airstone as oxygen levels will decline. then use maracyn as tolak suggested. i used daily epsom salt dips (30 minutes max) at the dose of 1 tsp per gallon. make sure you don't use aquarium salt.
