Are the tanks cycled? What are the test results for tap water?

Tank one looks acceptable on the limited information we have.

Tank two has soft water fish and your GH is too high for them, you could look at mixing tap and RO water to soften it. The rams need smooth sand substrate as they are filter feeders.
