Setting Up Co2

Hello all, I am after soom info on CO2 as i have just been given a 6ft tank and equipment, and in this equipment is a CO2 system. Just wan't to know how much CO2 should be going into the bubble counter pot??? :blink: :blink: :blink:

You need an in tank test kit for to monitor CO2 diffusion. Then by looking at this you can determine if your CO2 needs to be increased/decreased accordingly.

Be careful as CO2 diffusion affects the pH and should be increased/decreased over a period of time so as not to distress your fish.

Unless it is very heavily planted with high light levels skip the CO2.

Most people with planted tanks aim for around 30ppm CO2.
