Left it bare bottom. Added my snails, then went down to my lfs and got my first two guppies ever. I got the ones that were swimming the most in the tanks since none of them looked real well. :/

Since I am wanting the gups to bread, should I add substrate? I know I need to add some plants and what not, but do they need gravel?

I know that gups bread like rabbits, but it's my first experience with them. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Tiffany

you are fine in a glass bottomed tank (actaly man say that they are better) but you should pick up another female gup before to long because the constant breeding of the male will stress the female out. also the first batch will be super small but they will gradually get bigger (I've heard up to 100) good luck and keep us informed
