Hi people,
Wondering if someone can help. I have a 20 gallon tank with 4 clown loaches (for the snails). 2 platy's,(with 6 babies, 2 weeks old, still in fry net) 6 neon tetras and 6 headlight tetras and 2 plecos.
One of the headlight tetras seems to have its jaw jammed open. It's still breathing and swimming with the others, but its mouth isn't closing at all. Every now and then, it darts across the tank and back again rapidly - which doesn't sound too unusual, but I've never noticed it doing it before, and the others don't do it.
Have any of you any ideas on what I should do? Is it something that it will die from, in which case I'd rather save it's misery. If it's a symptom of a contagious disease I'd like to treat it aas soon as possible before it spreads to the others.
Thanks in advance.
