Never posted in this section so Hi :D

I bought a spiral Vallis when i first got the tank it hasn't really grown much in height but it does seem to be growing out the way i have about 5/6 smaller plants growing from this larger plant

it starts off like a thick bit of white string travels across the gravel burry's itself then grows another plant

Is it best just to leave it as it is or is then anyway i can take a cutting and seperate the plants

And also do they all do this ? only asking because i have a straight Vallis and this hasn't done this and both were bought at the same time around 4/5 months ago

many Thanks :D

Sorry to sound like a complete numpty but how do you seperate them ?

sharp knife and cut them at a slant?

do i just make a small hole in the gravel then put them back in ?

never really done much greenery pruning in my tank much better with house plants :D lol

where the runner comes out of the motherplant, you want to SNAP it as near to the mother plant as possible. then do the same with the baby plant and chuck the little bit of runner away and then push the baby plant back in!
