i have a bunch of albino guppies and albino blue guppies and i know some of the females are pregnant but i cant tell when they will drop. i cant find any gravid spot. i bought a floating box {i think its called a fri trap}. and i am trying to figure out when i should put the pregnant female in the box because i want to save the babies. so any tips on when i should separate the pregnant females would be allot of help.

thanks

In all honesty, those floating breeding traps are terrible thigns and you'd be better off not using it.

Get a load of fine leaved plants, like cabomba or elodea, and fill the tank with it; the fry will hide in there, and find things to eat in there too.

The females can miscarry from stress in the traps, and they're too small for the fry to grow properly.
