My two female Kribs are having problems. One of them is obviosuly larger than the other, and has taken over most of the tank as her territory. The smaller krib hides behind the filter or swims up and down on one side of the tank. She is chased by the larger Kribs if she comes out too far. I have tried rearranging the tank in the hopes that the smaller one will be able to establish a territory, which has worked a little, but I am still concerned. the Kribs were a similar size when i got them and i am worried the smaller one is not eating enough. Today I bought a fish net breeder, which says it can also be used to isolate aggressive fish. After much trying, i finally managed to catch the larger Krib and pop her in this, she really isn't happy! What i want to know is, how long should I keep her in this? It is quite small and I don't want to leave her in it for longer than neccessary, but I need the smaller Krib to eat some more and establish some territory. Can anyone give me any advice?

I can't take one back for another week as the pet shop is closed today and I am working Mon-Fri. I ahve asked a friend if he can take one and am waiting on his reply. In the meantime, the larger Krib is still 'imprisoned' and I am wondering if I should release her or whether she will be OK where she is? The smaller Krib is getting more confident now, swimming around the whole tank, and I am thinking that if she continues to be conifdent then she might fight her corner when i release the bigger Krib....

I would relase the bigger krib and see what happens.
