this is my first post
I have 2 female balloon mollies and 2 female guppies all pregant in a aprox 20-25L tank. No heater as i'm in australia and the tank is approx 25degrees Celcius as it is summer. I'm running a small
air filter it has one plastic plant and a ormienta;l car.
I wanted to separate them from my 3ft tank so when they gave birth the fry would stand a higher chance at surrvival.
I was wondering if this tank is an approriate size for 4 fish or would i be stressing them alot.
Also with 4 fish in their do my fry really stand a higher chance at survival.
I have the tank set up with big rocks (like you would use for an axelote so they dont swallow them) which creates alot of hiding space. This has worked well when i had 2 female swords in the tank.
I'm not sure when separating females for birth if they are ment to strictly be in a tank of their own for the best survival rate of fry.
basically is this an alright set up for a decent survival rate of fry and to keep my fish happy and healthy.
