I am planning on selling off some of my fish to thin out the population in my 55 gallon. The dominate males are showing color and the fish are getting to big for my tank to have them all. My question is how much should I sell my fish for? All are plump, in great health, showing great color, and are 2-3". Here is a list of the fish I am going to be getting rid of. I have never sold my fish before, so I was just trying to get a ball park figure. I live in the midwest in Nebraska

3-blue ahli's 1 male is 3", 2 females are 2.5"
3-red zebra's 2-3"
3-yellow labs 2.5"
4-German red peacocks 1 male, 3 females all are 3"
2-Obliquidens 1"-1.5"

Any information you guys could give me would be great. I hope maybe someone on here has sold these fish before. Thanks

i will have to check back with you in a couple weeks and see if you still have your fish haha.. im in sioux city iowa. which isnt that far to lincoln. have a bunch of fam in lincoln... now i have an excuse to go visit haha... i will keep in touch if your interested in local pick up

Check on aquabid, that will give you a general price.

something to think about is shipping cost , packaging costs and the possibility of giveing money back on dead arrival. For the amout of fish your selling have you thought about store credit at the local fish store. That way you can get a spare filter , bulbs , fish food , filter media , rocks or even a new tank to start working on. Just another thought for you to ponder over.
