I was just wondering how much success people in Australia have in getting rid of their excess babies ( I have guppy babies). Are LFS happy to take them? And do you get credit or cash or anything? At this point I'd be happy to give them away to the store, but I dont want them to be sold as feeder fish :( !!! I didnt go to all the trouble of raising them for that!

Fancy. The Females are nice enough, but the males are stunning. Bright Orange/Red tail with pitch black dots and a black outline around the edge of the tail.

the fancy guppies go for $3 a piece at my lfs in the US. I would think any lfs would be happy to take fish as nice yours sound. I've never seen fancy guppies sold as feeder fish here.

Guppies are standard fish, even fancy guppies don't fetch high prices, you'll be lucky if you get $1 IMO, the standard price around here is 40 cents wholesale, and thats what they'll be paying you, wholesale prices

They sound like lovley fish  too bad most shops are concerned about their profit more than the quality of there stock...

It depends on the store, who runs it, do you know them, etc...

I get $1.00 each for the guppys I take in, although I know my LFS doesn't pay that much when ordering. The reason is because he knows me and knows I take care of fish. (My fish get spoiled. ;) )

If they know you and are decent people they will give you a decent price.
