seios are notoriuos for being sticky. try loosening the end cap a quarter turn and tap it while submerged it should fire right up. Be aware that you need to make sure they come back on anytime you turn the power off and back on. Whether you decide to get a new one or not it is fairly frequent occorance and they all need to be watched.
Thanks guy's took mine out and sent it back and the new one was delivered today. Slight mistake with the ordering and I got to one at my home address and one at my business address! Think I might keep the both but is thst the 'right' thing to do?
As for the clicking the new one came unmade so I put it together myself and took the advice to not screw it up to tight.
As the Monopoly game says " Bank error in your favor clooect $100"
See if they catch it, if not ...
Another ggod trick is to take the flow restrictor off. If it gets turned your fish can get sucked into the intake as the pump pulls harder through the smaller spaces. One of my seios got a yellow tang that way. You really don't want to restrict them anyway so just take them off.
