Hi everyone... i have recently set up my new 55g tank and during set up i added a fairly large piece of driftwood. i had noticed a few seed casing on the wood before i put it in, but i had thought that they were all empty. apparently i was wrong, as i now have these 2 shoots in my tank. one in the sand and another on the wood. do i need to remove them? or will they be ok for now? i'm still in the first stages of fishless cycling, so there aren't any fishies to eat them.

thanks.

As an avid gardener, I feel that any free plant is a great thing! I would see what they turn into then decide if you like it or not. Sorry, can't tell what it is from the picture as it's pretty small. If you want to keep them, just leave them where they are (best not to disturb something so tender and small.)
