Did a wc on one of my tanks last night, as usual I was having trouble getting the tetratec filter going again. I opened the top to clean out the filter wool, as I took the wool out I could see seeds on the surface. First thought was somehow budgie seed had got into the tank (bird cage is next to the tank) Then I noticed them moving. I got the tetratec filter going and drained off the initial water into a bucket, however when I started up the second filter the tank was filled with these seed shrimp. I gather they have hatched from eggs in one of the frozen foods  There are none in the tank only in the filters, as soon as those got washed into the tank the fish had an extra meal. How do I get rid of them out of my filters?

i'm in the same thinking of Timmybee, chops will enjoy 'noming' on these.

Oh yes Chops thought Christmas had come early, stilly fish made himself dizzy trying to eat as many as possible, the clown loach also thought it was great!
