So i picked it up today
chepo with everything included (Pictures coming soon)
It has all been used, filters included.
so i was wondering, would i have to fully cycle it still or just fill wait and test? then add fish?

Its only a 60lrt
it still needs a place in my small room :p

You probably have to re-cycle it again since the bacteria which might have colonised the filter might have died. If the filter's really dry, then it's definite that you have re-cycle it. If it's damp and has been kept that way, you can use a testing kit or have your local fish store to check your ammonia levels. Ask for the readings and you can post them here. There'll be a lot of people from here who'd be glad to help you!
 
Okays i will check it all now, but i would say they are dry as the guy did say i would have to do a small cycle to it or just transfer some of my already filter media over

You definitely need to recycle.Besides think of if the good bacteria are still alive whats to tell that some other bad ones are not.
Wash everything properly,like if it was a new tank.than recycle.That's my advice.
You never know how healthy the previous owner fishes were.
If you have a working fish tank of your own you can use some of its water and filter media as you said before to jump start your cycle.It's not gonna do the cycle over night but it will speed it up a little.
