Hi all,

My filter is on its last leg and they have a deal at Petsmart where I can get a filter free with tank, so I think I am going to do that (my tank is pretty bad off too). My question is do you have to seal a new tank or do anything to it? If so what do I use to seal it?

Thanks, Sarah

Tanks should come fully constructed, if you are told you need to do anything with the seams you can tell them where to go. All you should really do is give it a quick rinse!

Thanks, I have never had a new tank so I didn't know. Love the biceps!

Why thankyou, harassing innocent people for chips at the seaside takes it out of you , more likely to surrender the entire bag if I look threatening.

Your tank should be set to go when you buy a new one, usually everything is included if you get a package deal. It's always best to rinse the tank out though to lift the crap/dust that may be in there.

Well I want you to know that I most always feed your friends unless they are in the Wal-Mart parking lot!

yeah I am undecided on whether or not to get this, ideally I would buy parts separately because I could get better quality stuff but this is the cheap way to go right now. Filter is still sputtering alomg so i guess i have a bit more time to think.
