Hello Well i have a question. has anyone has any experience with SeaHorse, I would love to have a few but am not really sure... i would like some feed back..

I do have A pair of Gold Stripe Maroon -ClownFish, A 2 Blue Damsel and Green Chromis . and i have them in 50 Gal

I hate to say it but it sounds to me like it would be hard to get food to the seahorse with all those pigish fish in a tank. Especially those maroon clowns.

I think it would still be hard for that seahorse to fight to get food. I have the same problem with my tang and yellow clown goby(soon to be gone).

thank you .. i guess i wont be geting any seahorse anytime soon..

PLEASE ADVICE.. WHAT SHOULD I GET .. I DO LIKE COLORFULL FISH OR TANGS.

OR EVEN BETTER HAS ANYONE TRY TO reproduce cLOWNFISH...
??

Heh, capslock problems? ;)

Well you've got some spunky fish in there now and a 50g isn't the biggest tank out there. I'd suggest maybe some larger wrasses, pseudochromis, or perhaps a dwarf angel (if you're NOT keeping corals)

Dwarf lion or snowflake moray?

well wouldnt the snowflake moray really will mess with the rest of my fish. like my clowns.

And i do have coral in there..

Sorry about the Capslock..

and 50g is not.. damn i didnt know.. and i do have colars in there.. and i check out the dwarf angels it looks pretty cooll...
thanks buddy..

:good:

Snowflakes don't touch fish or corals (they often make good tankmates for seahorses) but they do eat shrimp and true (non-hermit) crabs in many cases.

ok .. how about Green Wolf Eel .. i got one of them in my 20 gal tank.. he is there with my triger Fish..

Probably... SkiFletch recommended pseudochromis above, and as I always remind people green wolf eels are a kind of pseudochromid. Out of interest what species of trigger do you have?

I wouldnt throw dwarf angels in the "reef-safe" bin but I think they have gotten a bad label. I have a Flame Angel in my 24g and he doesnt pick at corals or any thing for that matter. If you feel up to trying an angel go for a cherub angel. Smaller more beautiful fish and I think they have the least tendencey to pick at corals out of all the dwarf/pygmy angels.

I keep a lagoon (Picasso) trigger in my reef tank. He hasn't caused any damage as of yet, but he has been "eyeing" the shrimp lately and nipped an anemone the other day (causing no damage). The tentacle was worming about on a rock and looked like a worm, so this would perhaps explain it. The point being he could be suitable for your bigger tank.
