Does anyone know if these products....Seachem Stability and Seachem Prime.....deplete oxygen in the tank when you use them???? and anyone had success with using these products....Stability with their cycling and Prime with detoxifying ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate???? Much help and info is greatly appreciated

never seen seachem stability , but i use seachem prime . easily the best dechlorinator ive ever used , gos so much further than the rest , and no it doesnt deplete oxygen at all. why do you ask that?

I ask because I was using Amquel plus and that does deplete oxygen in the tank and I didn't like that about it and wanted something better that did the same thing that amqueal plus does without depleting the oxygen because I hate seeing my fish up at the top of the tank trying to get air

i dont get why you would need to use a product to detoxify ammonia , nitrites etc your filter should be doing that , and waterchanges will deal with the nitrates. or am i just misunderstanding your question?

Prime is awesome, no issues with oxygen in my tank, and I did use stability too when I was stocking and cycling. Not sure if it helped, but it didn't harm.

@ rynofasho....thanks for your info. and help =)
@ markandhisfish.....I am still in the cycling process for one of my tank and so I need something to help with the nitrite so I won't lose any fish.....but my question was the depletion of oxygen when using these products...thanks

if youre doing a fish-in cycle the answer is simply to be doing daily waterchanges . take a read through this from the beginers rescource section , at the top of this forum. it will give you all the info you need .
