So fingers crossed it all works :good:

I've finally ordered some Flourish to replace my Tetra Plantamin: I haven't gone for the full set though, am curious if I need to as yet. I'll be watching this thread to see your results!

wow wid all those ferts u can open up a plant store :look:

I also use flourish and it works,,, plants do grow faster :good:

Seachem is a great line of Ferts. I used them exclusively before I started making my own from powder.
You should see great results from them.

Do you have co2 on the tank? They also make a Carbon suppliment that works nicely.

I am using Flourish Excel, seems to be working well, I dose CO2 but not in the best way possible (Tetra Optimat system, a bit naff really!). If nothing else it has certainly knocked the algae down nicely!

Being extremely nosey, can you please tell me...

What quantities are you dosing your ferts in & when?
How often do you change water & if so, how much?
What is the size of your tank?
What substrate do you use?
What lighting have you got?

GL & TIA

So you're adopting EI then??? Curious you see because I am going to try this...

Got my ferts (as raw powder). Just got to sort a substrate out & take care of a rather annoying snail problem that unfortunately can't be cured with a shotgun. :sly:

yea that is kinda what im doing because all i can see at the mo is my plants need ferts so im just doing that until they go green and then keeping it stable

What I pick up from the pictures is that you seem to have a lot of the water surface covered with plants...unless I am seeing things wrong?

Thinning out the surface cover will really help as the light will be able to get down to the other plants. Other than that, I would expect things to take around 2 weeks before you may notice any difference.
