Sea Anemone Help!

So ive only had my fish tank for about 2 weeks now, its a small one. Either way I have 2 questions about my anemone. its brown...lol I dont know the name. So number 1: I bought a new filter the other day and i had to move the old and place the new bigger one in its place, i had to move my anemone as it was right next to the filter. The previous day a brown substance had came out of its mouth, wich i thought it was pooping, but it held onto it. so when i moved it the little brown thing fell out of its grasp. the brown glob looked like it was shaking but it could have been the current that was doing this. So what i wanted to know was if the brown thing could have been a baby or just poop....lol i smushed it in the process of trying to put it back to the anemone.

Question 2:

before i moved him the whole bottom of the anemone was in the sand. but since i have moved him, hes just chillin on top of the sand and is kind of limp to the left. So i wanted to know if this was normal?

I don't know very much about anemones, but all of the cool people down in the marine section would be glad to answer your question. Try posting down there.
