just wondering would gary (my Betta) scoff one of my neons as there was 6 but now only 5 & cant find it anywhere!!

:hyper: do you reckon he has? dont you feed him for a couple of days now.....

Most likely. does he ever chase them??? if so then neons should be seperated or get a 1 gallon bowl and put betta in???
Good Luck.

Do you mean scarf? As in eaten? Is he looking very fat? It seems that if a betta were to eat a neon, their huge belly would give them away.

scoff means eaten very fast....thats true has he a big tummy.....

I've never heard it used in that context. I was imagining something more along the lines of "My betta has been laughing at the other ugly fish in my tank".
You learn something new every day.

its ok, found it in the plants, it was dead, seems to have been trapped, the betta is no problem never bothers anything at all thats how i thought it strange

OK can you tell Gary that it is a compliment we thought he had eaten a neon...shows him he is big and tough!! :hyper: :hyper:

yeah, hes quite hard coz hes a geordie!!
