Most likely. does he ever chase them??? if so then neons should be seperated or get a 1 gallon bowl and put betta in???

Do you mean scarf? As in eaten? Is he looking very fat? It seems that if a betta were to eat a neon, their huge belly would give them away.

scoff means eaten very fast....thats true has he a big tummy.....

I've never heard it used in that context. I was imagining something more along the lines of "My betta has been laughing at the other ugly fish in my tank".

its ok, found it in the plants, it was dead, seems to have been trapped, the betta is no problem never bothers anything at all thats how i thought it strange
