Your little shrimp palace looks amazing :good: I'm starting something similar this weekend, hope mine looks half as good as yours

hehe, thanks :) ... few weeks in now and they are starting to colour up nicely :hyper:!

I should have a little peice of drift wood arriving tomorrow from another nice member on here, i'll be attaching flame moss to that so hopfuly that should look good too :good:

loving this! looks so amazing, like the planted look with the small tank and the shrimp!

are you dosing the tank with anything Scott?

The moss seems to be doing really well!

I don't use any ferts mate, just light power

Funny you should say that as my partner said the moss is gowing quite well (it was patchy when I brought it) ... but I didn't notice the patches we're growing over untill she said :p

Tryed to get a few snaps at feeding time when they started to come out :fun::

Nice tank! I never had any luck with shrimp in my tank.... I like what you did with the floating plants.

Hi there,

excellent looking tank! I wish i had that kind of luck with plants! :D

I'm wanting to add some shrimp to my tank as a final addition (not sure what type yet).

I would like to add cherry shrimp, as the tank is quite small (so far housing 5 white cloud mountain minnows, 1 apple snail, 1 trapdoor snail, 'x' ramshorn and tadpole snails). It has Elodea crispa growing in it, and I intend to add some java moss (tied to wood in the tank). The tank has quite a strong flow (from 2 HOB filters) and is at 22'C.

Question is, do you think cherry shrimp would survive in such a setup? They are hard to get hold of round here, and quite expensive...

Thanks and welcome back :)

Hi

Great looking tank. How often do you do water changes on this tank?
