I hear that schools of angelfish work when they are young but will I have tons of trouble once they are adults? I realize one will likely get beaten to death but if you have enough in one tank does that help keep them calm a bit?

I would like to keep 10-12 of them in a 180 gal

Younger angels shoal rather than school, same group idea but no synchronized swimming, much as you would see a flock of birds that fly, turn & such.

A larger group in a larger tank usually works, you have enough room for territories when pairs form, and enough fish to spread any aggression around, similar to the stocking of an African cichlid tank.

Thanks. Is there any type of Angelfish that is less likely to have agression in this scenario? Or all they all pretty much the same?
