I would like to know what kinda fish is a good schooling fish that is mean. so that i can put them in my cichlid tank. thanks

Your cory cat is a schooling fish so you should get a few more of them. Maybe you could also get congo tetras unless someone else thinks this tank is already stocked.

I think he's saying he wants a shoaling fish which is aggressive.

Oh I thought he mean that he wanted to find a schooling fish that wouldn't get beaten up by the cichlids.

Actually, the cory shouldn't be in that tank at all and if I remember from an earlier thread, you have already taken him back anyway. As a general rule, schooling fish are pretty peaceful so they really don't work in a species tank. They will eventually become dinner. The possible exception to that is Clown Loaches which are schooling fish but do get large so they aren't likely to get eaten. They aren't aggressive though so they still will probably be killed by the more aggressive fish.

Tiger Barbs 0.o I don't know if "mean" is the right word, but they are fin nippers... yet a full grown cichlid probably wouldn't put up with too much of that.

yes i have got rid of the everything but the red zebra, blue cobalt, aruatus, red top zebra, convict, green terror. and i want an aggressive fish that will stay together. like a schooling fish. or just something that will get along with them that schools. i know theres one cichild that schools its blue and has a yellow back fin. dont know the name off hand. i was thinking may barbs if i cant find that cichild. i want a small fish that schools. thanks everyone.

look i have two fishys

I'm pretty sure you've already been told this, but that combination of fish is going to lead to disaster. Why don't you work on educating yourself about your fish and correcting the big problems ahead rather than looking for another fish that won't work in your setup?

i plan on getting rid of the green terror when i go back to the store. and if the convict get killed later on so be it. i like him in the tank. noone bothers him. and my red top zebra is 5 inchs

I know which cichlid you are thinking of and it is entirely inappropriate for this tank. Try barbs, at least they're cheaper to lose.
