I have just done a water change anrealized that their was some food on the gravel,so i scooped it up and did a whole load of syphoning and cleaning when i saw that.Anyways i was wondering what fish(or crustacians sorry may have spelt it wrong) will eat up left over food and platns bits at the bottom of the tank.I have a next door neighbour who has crabs but they eat all the roots and tear them up from the ground so no crabs please.I have to note that my tank has a had a recent out break of white spot(About a week ago)so i dunno if i should add fish.I was wondering if Plecos eat plants bits.Oh and sorry to go on but what fish will eat all the main types of algae besides SAE'S?

What type of filter do you have?

How much do you feed your fish? How many times? There shouldn't be too much food leftover on the gravel, unless you feed to much. You should also normally feed your fish once a day, at the most twce a day. You should put enough fodd fo the fish to finish within 5 minutes. If there is alot that falls on the gravel, then you maybe feeding too much.

about 3 cory catfishes would do well, just make sure they are small, around 2". I'm just concerned about your tank being overstocked.
