Scat Prices?

Unfortunatly These fish are not mine, so i cant offer them for sale!

However i was wondering if someone could tell me aprox how much it would cost for a 5 inch Red Scat, and about the same lenght Silver Scat???
Both Are healty and active!

In the Northeast US, I would say a 5" red scat would go for around $20. A sliver would be more due to their rarity here especially at that size. These are of course *retail* prices which usually come with warranty.

if selling these privately, i would cut the price in half.

I dunno, at 5" I'd expect to see them run more like 30-40$. Most of the retail scats I've seen are more like 1-2" for 10-20$. But I agree that between friends, 25-40% less is good practice.

I'm not sure about Red Scats, but I'd expect to pay around £15 or so for a 5" Silver Scat.

That is def higher then in Boston, MA.

I recently bought 2 juvenile green scats (2" or so) for $12 each. Juvenile Reds go for the same or maybe a little higher. Silvers are higher then that but not by a huge amount.

For $40 you can get a full grown adult. However, they tend not to sell. Whether that is the price or due to their size or sorta ugly adult appearance, I couldn’t say.
