These are some photos I took of some newly hatched spiders in my garden. :crazy: I am absolutely petrified of them :sad: . They were pretty amazing to watch though, and there are hundreds of them.

I think they are lovely, great pics by the way. Look like the young of the common Garden spider (Araneus diadematus) to me. very nice
 
What always amazes me is the way they disperse themselves when they are little.

They spin a bit of web, climb to a high spot, wait for a gust of wind and then let go.............and are then at the mercy of the wind.

If you are ever on a heath in late spring/early summer, lie down and look up (if you dare!) and look at all the bits of spider webs in the air - they're all baby spiders!

they love it if you put petro on top of them and light a match.
 
Ooh bugger...just brought back memories when i was little and playing in the garden and I knocked this bush thing and loads landed on me....urgh...ah i can feel them now...noooo!
