Scared Guppies

I have 4 guppies pregenant, they seem to have been pregenant for about 2 months, I am pretty sure 1 has given birth, (still has black spot, but is skinnier) but the babies were either eaten or died.

I spoke to lfs and was told that guppies will abort if they are scared and walking past the fish tank can scare them. I've never heard this before, and I must admit I spend alot of time at night sitting and watching the little guys.

I know my tank is overcrowded, but I am working on a smaller tank for breeding the livebearers, (just need the money)

I'd appreciate someones feedback on this

umm., Okay.. LOL.. well for a fact I watched mine everynight and mine still gave birth.. LOOOl.. so im sure its not b/c u watched them or walked by ur tank.. she may have been stressed. or was too young perhaps? what's in the tank with them? also, I know people say this will stress them out but once they look like thier to exbload I put mine ina breeding net and they have the fry the next day and then i release female back into main tank.. then have abour 20-50 fry...

Some people say no breeding box, others yes. I don't want to stress them out. But I think I'm going to have to and just hope for the best

I have a 150 litre tank, and I know it's overstocked, I said before I was trying to get another tank set up.

I honestly thought this forum would help and give advice, which it has done. You are the first person to be so nasty.

Next time please take note, that it is a 150 litre tank.

Hey, i'm not nasty, it's just your profile has the tank listed as a 3 litre... Now that I know it's an 150 litre I can apologize to you, and say i'm sorry for typing in full caps.

Also, you said nothing about the size of the tank, so please don't get on the offense, it was just a misunderstanding, thats all.
