Hey everyone,

Bought a vision 180 tank about 2 weeks ago now.

Already lost 2 angel fish, and 4 more i cannot remember the names of.

We have a testing kit but there scales on the box are not accurate.

Anyone know of any better ones, we are running a 180 litre Tropical Fish tank.

Hi and welcome to the forum :) !
Where abouts do you live in the world?
The best course of action right now though would be to do a 50% water change with a dose of water conditioner/dechlorinator added, can you describe the symptoms of any sick fish in the tank currently or ones that have died on you (things like gasping at the surface, cotton-like growths on the fish, torn or shredded looking fins, bloody markings on fish etc)?

We did a 75% water change the other day, this made no change.

Only symptom i can describe is that the fish are swimming around happily and then suddenly drop dead and keel over.

We have added quite a bit of conditioner to the tank to no avail, anyone got any more ideas ?

Did the fish go straight in as soon as you bought the tank or after it was cycled? could be that the levels of ammonia / nitrite have just reached the level where they're toxic but not enough bacteria has been produced to eat it up.

Fish shops will usually test your water for you so you can compare your kit readings with theirs.
