Say Cheese

HI guppy girl.....my Hammers blue cobalt has been doing just great with a pH 7.0, kH 3-4, soft water, gH 2. Keeping the water too acidic can cause their shell to soften. He does great with sinking pellets. I know the currents down in my aquarium so that I can float a pellet down near him....he grabs it and backs up..starts eating it. SH

Thanks Parker..but...I think your nano reef blows my lighthouse away. lol SH

 I have a lighthouse in my 46g, but it's not quite the same.

Here's a pic of the whole tank.

he he..dueling bows...here is our 46 bow. I apologize for the loose hose which popped off the back and the slice of zucchini in the front. LOL SH

PS...also to the 'naturalists'...I apologize..hey...I have kids (I know they are cringing at the quintessential sunken ship). And I confess...I got the diving doggy because the author of 'FW Aquariums for Idiot's' confessed to liking it. LOL. SH

Very nice!! I like all the rock work!! For all the good a "natural" tank is, there's also something to be said for a tank with a little sense of humor! It's not like the fish care ;)

Thanks Parker....half the plants in that pic are live and would you believe it....doing OK with a 30 watt AquaGlow????? SH

Thanks Danny Boy....like the Canadian flag too...hope to make it Quebec City someday and stay at the Frontenac Hotel. lol SH

Contrary to what you may think about us "naturalists", there is a small, but growing movement, that would like nothing better than to have gf from the planted section put up either a large neon-yellow bubbling scuba diver or a sign that says "Keep of Grass" in the middle of his nature aquarium.

You hearing this gf! Before you take down that extraordinary tank and reaquascape, why don't you humor us and send a picture!

Your tank looks great, SH, and I'm glad the kids enjoy it.

He is a cracker, great colour.....ive got one myself....I also have a pangasius and know a few people who have kept them for a long time, the biggest Ive ever known is about 14".

My crayfish lives on his own though.
