I was just installing a bubble system for CO2, and saw something I initially thought was a detached root. But then it got up and wriggled out of the way.

It was white, threadlike, and about a centimeter long. It wasn't on a fish or anything, just hanging out in the algae in the back, but it looked like it might be a roundworm or something. I thought I'd ask you guys about it.

It was probably a planarian. They're not dangerous, but they could be a sign of overfeeding.
