Saw my pleco do something

I had just put in a square of tubifex worms and some flakes. They were floating at the top. After I went and set down aways away. My pleco aka slugo went to the top of my tank and started to eat some of worms. It was pretty cool He likes to hide in the plants and hang on the columns so when he tried to eat the food on top of the water, it was a shock.

that's too cool, it must have been a sight to see, I've read that plecos do that but I've never seen one try

get him to do it again and get a picture of it , I WANNA SEE!!

Hi, That is a neat site to see. I saw my pleco do that once but he hasn't done it in over a year. Congrats on doing that.

Similar thing my pleco used to do. I feed my malawi floating cichlid pellets. One day i saw my pleco floating upside down I thought he was dying!! I looked closer and he had come up to grab a mouthful of pellets and ate them while floating down
