went to my local today to see if they had any girls in, or for that matter any pk males in as females. they ALWAYS keep a vt male in with the girls, ive told them time and time again not to keep a male with the females but the dont listen.
i went intoday to see as per, a vt in with the two girls they had, and on closer inspection i saw they had a pk male in as a female! the pk was devoid of colour with major stress stripes, but was active and occasionaly flared at the female. i told the woman in the shop and pointed out the differance. she move the pk to another tank imediately. by the look of things they pair had already had a scrap and the bigger vt had come out on top and the pk just subordinately disguised himself as a girl. the vt had a couple of chunks out of the anal fin, so thats what made me think they had alrady been scrapping. apparently they had been in the same tank for some time.

good on you for pointing it out, can you imagine what might of happened if you didn't go in there, poor guys :good:

Wow, they need to learn to take care of their fishies better! :(
But that was good you saved it! ;) I love PK's; except none of my local petstores carry them :(
