Sand

Hi all
Just a quick question. Got a 25l tank. Am changing from gravel to sand. Want it just for a male. Will sand be ok or do they prefer gravel?
If sand ok wot else could I put in it.

Sand is fine Bettas aren't bottom dwellers really so I don't think it matters if you have gravel or sand. They like lots of plants

Could I put anything else in with it ?

In a 5 litre you could maybe go for some endlers in there or 3 cories.

It depends on the tank measurments as to wether the cories would be a good idea they tend to like alot of room Kuhli loach would be fine with him, i always find bettas tend to outshine everything else in their tank anyway, they're solitary so really do like being on their own

think will keep it on its own but will plant the tank as well
