ive been gone a while, but my current set up is a 55 gallon tank, it has gravel in it. At the pet shop the other day, my OH went and bought sand, he has the intention of putting it underneath the gravel. I don't want to say no outright, because he just wants to do a good thing for me and my fishies. I was wondering if there was a way to do this? i obviously already have the fish in the tank, have done since about november.

I'd thought about the sand and gravel mixing. But i always seem like the naggy woman
