By the way, mines a Powerhead 802 (just found that out) Will it stir up the water more? Or help it settle?

hmm mines different its maked by askoll??? and it says powerhead 3c1 on it and its the same but the intake is on the top and on the bottom there a canister like thing that has a filter in it which also draws in water. if u have a hang on filter fun it with just the sponge in it and wash the sponge every hour start this in the morning then before bed wash it again then leave it on over night (with a hong on filter the sand may harm the impellor but on mine it goes through the filter first) u dont hafta wash the media every hour it just cleans faster

Thanks, im using an outdated Dynaflow filter ne ways so a little impeller damage wouldnt be the end of me. It seems like it getting clearer everyday. Do you think it will settle in a couple days, id rather not do water changes cause i have no hose and they therefore take a while!

u dont need a water change i just ran the net all around the seface piking up andthing thats not supposeto be the it will take about a week to be fully clear but when u have fish in it is important to keep ontop of the waste it is very visible i just run a small syphone and pick up all the poo
