Sand Substrate But

I'd love to have sand as my substrate for my juwel rekord 120 but as far as i know there's a filter at the bottom near the substrate so wont this suck up the sand and get clogged up?

The inbuilt Juwel filter ? If so, no - the inlet is in the top
