Sand Questions

i was wondering if there is much of a differnce between play sanda dn aquarium sand, because i need a substrate for my new 55 gallon and i want sand but my LFS sells aquarium sand at expensive prices and i could get twice as much play sand for about half the cost. any commetns would be greatly appreciated

Neither, go with Pool Filter Sand. Otherwise, yes do a search. This gets asked a lot.

Play sand works great Just make sure that you wash it very well before you put it in your tank I agree that aquariom sand is too expensive
