I'm wondering because i don't know if i should use gravel or use sand for a change.. And once i get my tank up and running i'll send you guys and gals the picture of it.. but it will be a while right now i'm just pre preparing for it and yet still what to decide to put in it in which that should be fun :D

it depends what the tank will be home to :)

Bottom feeders will appretiate sand
plants arent so keen as it can pack tightly round the roots and rot them...

Corys do well with gravel as well, so if you plan to plant live plants, you might want to go with gravel since sand can greatly compact and impair the plants' ability to absorb nutrients and/or survive.

SeaChem also makes a fantastic substrate that is more gentle than course gravel and provides an excellent soil for plants to root into and grow.

Another thing to consider - fine grain sand can get in and damage or destroy power filters.
