Ok, well the aquarium sand at the store isnt the color I want
Can i put reptile sand in it or will it harm them?

not 2 sure mate i wudnt think they`d be much difference but ya never know if it will damage the water, ya best off asking at your LFS
BIG SHARK :good:

So long as the sand at the reptile shop is not calsisand (has added calsium and other minerals to keep the reptiles healthy), it should be fine. Calsisand for reptiles will add very large amounts of hardness to the water, resulting in a large raise in pH.

well i wouldnt really go for that. i'd rather you get the sand straight from your lfs. it may cost more but hey, you'd have less problems.

I got my sand from a garden centre. Look for Silica sand as its completely inert, so wont alter your pH, and cheap
