I recommend Argos Play sand or Toy's R US. Make sure you wash it until it is clear. Good deal on the angels.

Early Learning Centre too, all perfect cause the sand has already been washed and sterilized for the delicate lil kiddies... :good:

PS Do give it a rinse first like Azeron says

Aquarium sand is expensive. You'd be looking at about £10 for a 4 or 5 KG bag.

B&Q do a good play sand for about £3-4 for a MASSIVE bag. It's quite a dark sand, though, and will need a really good wash.

Welcome to TFF =)

WELCOME TO TTF!!

I use argos play sand, less than £3 and looks great too! Just a quick wash until water runs clear then its ready to be put into the tank!
