I decided to go through and take new pics of all my betta babies. Here they are in alphabetical order

I think you could use another 10-20 more bettas. I am in love with Gilarion, he's such a pretty little thing, but then all of you fish are pretty.

i really like what you did with the dividers... where did you get them?

i saw some rosetails didnt i !!.. i loooooooove that type of betta... athough some breeders say its a defect and should never be bred, i dont care.. haha

all of them are cool... must be a lot of work taking care of em all

The dividers are just plastic canvas that you can buy at any craft store... not the prettiest of things, but function over form I say

Yep yep, it's a plastic mesh and some craft stores carry it in a variety of colours. It's made for needlepoint work, I think, but it sure makes great tank dividers

I love all of your fishies . They are beautiful. I have a question about your dividers too. Did you silicone them into place? Or did you just make sure it was a tight fit? I am going to WM today to get some more plastic canvas so I can divide up an empty 10G that I have. I was thinking of dividing it 5 times with the middle compartment for the filter and heater. I want to make sure my boys are safe.

Oh yeah, one more thing about the divider, what number mesh did you use? 7 or 10? I have seen both, but I found the ones with the bigger holes(7 I think) had my boys flaring a lot more than the smaller one(10 I think).

I have never used the canvas for fish dividers, but I have used it for crafts...so, I can tell you this...The number is Stitches Per Inch. So 7 has bigger gaps than 10. It's nice to actually have some knowledge to pass on.

I am having to get some dividers for a couple of my 10g tanks. I have done the expensive dividers before, but I might go for cheaper this time. It isn't as if the expensive ones are all that pretty...

JackDemp528 -- Most of them came from Walmart, actually . It pays off to check every time they get a new shipment, I guess. A couple also came from my LFS, from breeders (purchased at a betta show), and from our very own Wuv

FishEnthusiast -- The dividers are siliconed at the very top and very bottom to keep them in place, but not along the sides (which is why they look crappy and wobbly, lol). I did it that way so that if I ever decide to use that tank for something else I can easily remove the dividers. I used the size 10 mesh and the boys only catch a glimpse of one-another every now and then
