ok well i was suppost to be getting a 33 gallon salt water hexagon tank but sadly the guy i was getting it from found it broken...so i was wondering can i make a 10 gallon into a saltwater tank or is it to small and no point of it?
and if i can make it into a saltweater tank what fish would go best in it? i need all the advice i can get thanks!!

Check out the Nano section  I think there are a few people with 10 gallon tanks

Remember to read all the pins and get as much info as you can before you start :)

Some people keep a pair of clownfish, or some small gobies in a 10. 3 fish is the absolute max i've seen but 2 is more ideal.

If it is your first marine tank I would either stick to one or no fish or wait for another larger tank. 10 gals are readily available though hard to keep as a marine setup due to the size restrictions. For a starter tank I would suggest a 55 - 75 gal size. I know this is hard to understand if you are coming from a freshwater backround as this would be considered a large tank, but in the marine arena it is considered to be the average.
