just wondering if anyone knows the difference between aquarium salt and sea salt cause salts salt to me thanx

Aquarium salt is just sodium chloride, marine salt contains all the essential trace elements that make up sea water

thanks for that, what about table salt can we use that for quarentining plants and making them safe to use in our aquarium

Table salt usually has other addatives such as anti-caking agents in, so probably not a good idea. if you can get 100% sea salt from the super market then that will probably be ok, otherwise use aquarium salts or other preperations you can get from your LFS.
