I heeard a rumor that iodine free salt in brakish tanks from a grocery store works perfectly. Has any herd of this rumor? I am thinking about starting my own 10 gal brakish and i wanted to check before i threw salt in

Hmm, I wouldn't advise that as it is unlikely to have all the trace minerals and the like found in Marine salt. Definately better to buy marine salt.

Also, it is not often advised to do a brackish as small as 10 gal as keeping the parameters right can be a bit tricky and I don't think there's a great del of fish that will fit. (I'm not saying don't, just that it can be quite a lot of work - and remember that the more salt in the water, the less fish it can support).
