It would be a good idea to give us all the details. The tank size, how long set up, the fish in it, the "fungus" (a photo?), additives, how much salt, etc.

I put this question under original thread "what is wrong with my female platie" but got no responses. I'm sorry but I'm new to hobby. I put salt in tank per Colin_T recommendations. But I only put 1 tablespoon salt per 5 gallons due to having live plants.

One tablespoon per 5 gallons of aquarium salt is the standard dose. I’m sure &Colin_T also told you to do daily water changes of 75%. Salt doesn’t dissipate so after initial dose, only add 3/4 tablespoon of salt with each 75% water change. Do this for 2 weeks.

OK, not a problerm. When you do start a new thread that has some connection to an existing thread, it is a good idea to mention the connection and include a link to the older thread so members can see the background. A question that seems to come out of the blue means we need to ask you for the background.

Now that I've read through that thread, I will stay out, as others are responding to the issue.
