Salmon At Lake Tahoe

Saw these kokanee salmon in a little stream off of Lake Tahoe (on hols). They go there at this time of year for spawning and then die. Was just amazed how red they were. The kokanee are landlocked cousins of the Sockeye Salmon.

Not entirely sure.. a lot of dead ones, but hopefully more new well ones. It's all part of the cycle.!

Waist* and salmon is awesome, can fetch a good price if you blag it as fresh caught aswell haha
