Salfin Molly Help

Hi ALL
I have 3 salfin mollys and 1 of the females keeps getting fungus problem

 I have had them about 3 months and this is her 3rd  time . It is always gone when treatment is finished. She had fungus on her side already when I got her.
My water stats are good , I wonder maybe could it be the male causing this as he is always harrising her and leaves the other female alone?
I dont want to keep adding treatment to tank and none of my other fish have this .
I can not add salt in tank as have cories and kuluies .
I dont want to take back to lfs but will have to if she keeps getting this problem

Any advice on this please

Are you sure it's fungus and not columnaris?
 
If you're treating for fungus then it may not get rid or columnaris...

It is def fungus as cottonwool effect and I use interpet finrot,fungus treatment . She is the only 1 that gets it but is always being harrassed by the male , even thoe there is another female in tank.
All of my other fish are healthy and my water quality is good as reg check .

I guess it might keep being caused by the stress from that then and the aggression towards her. If she's being harassed to the point of having wounds then it's very likely to be the case.
 
If the Interpret treatment has worked previously then I would use that again but you really need to try and get the male's aggression under control. Maybe adding some plants would work to break up his line of sight and to give her a few spots to hide out. Or maybe getting some more females would help, as it's advised to have 3 to 5 females for each male.
 
Obviously, keep your water quality up too

I think possibly get a couple more females but pretty stocked now. I have just changed tank about and put in a couple more plants and another great bit of bogwood
